Today we had an ultrasound to look at Emory's growth. My uterus has been consistently measuring smaller the last several weeks, and they just wanted to make sure that Emory was growing okay. So far everything is looking good. She is smaller, measuring a couple weeks behind, but that's also okay. I was hoping for a smaller baby anyways. She is weighing approximately 4 pounds and 2 ounces right now. Another very exciting thing is she was officially head down today. Granted she can continue to move around a lot, but at least we know she can get into this position. I am so relieved about this.
Ironically enough, my grandma posted some older pictures on Facebook today and there is a great profile picture of me from a few years back. The funny thing is, Emory has my exact profile. She's got a pointed nose and large upper lip. It was fun getting to see her on ultrasound today. We definitely got another confirmation that she is in fact a girl, which is a relief as she's got lots of pink clothes. She also still has her chubby cheeks and round chin. I am so excited to meet her!!
