Last night I slept horribly. I was very restless, tossing and turning and experiencing terrible hot flashes, I woke up several times covered in sweat; my neck and forehead, hair wet, clothes wet, it was very uncomfortable. When my alarm went off this morning for my synthroid, I decided to wake up instead of go back to bed and subject myself to more sweating and tossing and turning. That's right, it was so bad, I actually got out of bed at 8:30 which shocked Jason of course, as I'm never out of bed before 10:00.

19 Days to go
I started my medications two days ago and already I'm feeling side effects. I started my Lupron injections and steroid medications on Tuesday, and I thought a count down to egg retrieval was appropriate. At least to my tentative egg retrieval date. I don't know if I will ever get used to giving myself injections, it's not a pleasant thing, and nothing makes it easier. I taught Jason how to give me my injections last night, so that he could take part in stabbing me with needles, he seems both excited and nauseous, we will see how it goes. After my egg retrieval, our eggs with be fertilized and grown in the lab for 5 days. We will know whether or not we are pregnant 9 days after that, or 14 days from egg retrieval. It will be here before we know it.
